Step-by-step instructions:
Step 1: Create an account
- Click on the ‘New User’ button in the upper right corner
- Fill in the details: Username, First Name, Last Name, Organizational Email Address
- Select the appropriate access level between Viewer/ Manager/ Admin. If in doubt, select each level from the dropdown to see its description appear below.
- Pick the scope of sites your new user will have access to. By default Eco-Visio selects ‘All Sites’ dynamic scope, that gets updated with every newly created site. To give your user a specific access, click on ‘New scope’ and follow the steps. The new scope can be reused in the future when giving access to other existing or new users.
Step 2: Activate the new account
- An account activation email will be sent to our new user. It is valid for 7 days after which you can resend it by simply clicking on the user name from the user management tab in Eco-Visio.
- The user will have to follow the instructions from the activation email to complete setting up their new account.
- The last step is verifying the new email address by entering a one time code. Once this step of the Two-Factor Authentication was completed, users won’t be prompted to enter the code again unless they change their PC or Browser.
P.S. If you have previously used a generic log in account for multiple Eco-Visio Users, starting February 2024 , every Eco-Visio user will need to have separate login details and a separate email associated with their account.
